What to eat in Xiaoman solar terms
Xiaoman solar term is the last ten days of May. The temperature is obviously higher, the rain is more, and the weather is hot and humid. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it “dampness evil”;. Therefore, Xiaoman health care should focus on strengthening the spleen and resolving dampness. So how to invigorate the spleen and remove dampness? Here are some recipes suitable for this solar term, so that you can spend the hot summer safely.
Celery with tofu:
Ingredients: Celery 150g, tofu 1 piece, salt, monosodium glutamate, sesame oil a little.
Practice: celery cut into small pieces, bean curd cut into small cubes, blanch with boiling water for a while, remove and cool with boiling water, control clean water for use.
Stir celery and tofu, add salt, monosodium glutamate, sesame oil, stir well.
Efficacy: calming liver, clearing heat, removing dampness and detoxification.
Features: cool and palatable, good in summer.
White gourd and grass carp in pot:
Ingredients: 500 g wax gourd, 250 g grass carp, salt, monosodium glutamate, vegetable oil.
Method: peel wax gourd, wash and cut into triangular pieces, cut grass carp into pieces, leave tail and wash for use. First, fry the grass carp (with tail) in oil until golden yellow, take a sand pot, put appropriate amount of water into the sand pot, put the fish and wax gourd together in the sand pot, bring to a boil first, and then simmer slowly for about 2 hours. When the soup is white, add salt and monosodium glutamate to taste.
Efficacy: soothe liver, dispel wind, remove dampness and heat.
Fried duck with green pepper
Ingredients: 150g green pepper, 200g duck breast, 1 egg, proper amount of rice wine, salt, dry starch, fresh soup, monosodium glutamate, Lake powder and vegetable oil.
Methods: cut the duck breast into 2-inch long and 6-minute-wide slices, wash them with water and then drizzle them dry; mix the egg white, dry starch and salt with the duck slices, mix them well with the duck slices; remove the seeds and pedicles of green pepper, wash and slice them.
Add oil and heat to 40% heat. Put the duck slices into the pan. Stir fry with a spoon until it is eight times ripe. Add green pepper. When the duck slices are cooked, pour oil into the spoon.
Leave a little oil in the pan, add salt, wine, soup, and bring to a boil. Pour in the duck slices and green pepper. Thicken with starch and stir fry for several times. Serve.
Efficacy: warming the spleen, diuresis and detumescence.
White crucian carp (Carassius auratus)
Ingredients: 500 grams of white crucian carp, 3 eggs, 3 pieces of ginger, pepper.
Methods: wash the white crucian carp, fry it over low heat until yellowish, splash in a little water, shovel it up; fry the eggs into the shape of a poached egg, shovel up; stir fry ginger slices in the oil wok, add 1250 ml of water (5 bowls), bring to a boil, add the white crucian carp for a moment, add the poached eggs, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Efficacy: dispelling dampness and appetizing
Water chestnut and sugar lotus root soup:
Ingredients: 250 grams of water chestnut, 150 grams of lotus root, appropriate amount of rock sugar.
Method: wash and peel water chestnut, wash lotus root and cut into small pieces. Add appropriate amount of water in the casserole. Add water chestnut and lotus root into the pot and simmer for 20 minutes. Add in rock sugar and simmer for 10 minutes. After cooking, you can eat it.
